Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma’aden) was established by royal decree in 1997 and was entrusted with the responsibility of developing and exploiting the Kingdom’s mineral resources.
In 2008, 50% of the company’s shares were offered for public subscription on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul), making Ma’aden one of the largest mining companies in the Middle East.
Ma’aden aims to become the third pillar of Saudi industry alongside oil and petrochemicals, playing a key role in supporting Saudi Vision 2030 and contributing to economic diversification.
