About the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority

The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority is a Saudi governmental body established on May 4, 2021 (23 Ramadan 1442H) following the merger of the General Authority of Zakat and Tax with the General Customs Authority under one unified entity.
The authority aims to regulate and develop the zakat sector, enhance tax systems, facilitate customs procedures, strengthen customs security, and improve service quality for individuals and businesses.
