About the Authority
The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) is a Saudi government entity established by a resolution of the Council of Ministers on May 4, 2021 (23 Ramadan 1442 AH) following the merger of the General Authority of Zakat and Tax and the General Authority of Customs.
This strategic merger aims to unify national efforts in managing and collecting zakat, taxes, and customs duties, enhancing financial systems, and supporting Saudi Vision 2030.
ZATCA is dedicated to promoting voluntary compliance, facilitating international trade, and providing an advanced digital environment that enhances collection efficiency and improves services for taxpayers, importers, and exporters across the Kingdom.
